        social media is a digitally facilitated platform for sharing and exchanging ideas,opinions, views, thoughts through virtual media.There are various means of social media like;facebook, youtube,twitter,tiktok etc.They have huge userbase all over the world. with or Without having proper knowledge on its impacts people are just crazy towards mobile phone and social networking.

 By few past years social media has been a great part of human civilization.With the increament in the demand of mobile phone people use to enjoy social networking a lot.Every mobile phone user have a social media account.Relating to the topic social media has been established as a greatest boon for a current social society.But with increasement in number of users it is also being a cursh on us.Looking on both aspects here is a clarification of social media as boon or ban on society.

   Due to the impact of social media, the society is leaning towards modernization.social media:a strong pillar for development if utilized properly,social networking:a proper platform for end of unemployment and poverty if used correctly.social media is one of the vast subject matter to discuss on.social media has brought so much close that social and political boundries are crumbling.social media increases impact and knowledge of world events.Energetic youth can find acceptance and group of like minded people.social media is also becoming an outlet for creativity.it provides students a proper platform to share their ideas and creativity among a large mass.social media marketing helps people to build their own brand.They can have less advertisement costs because of social media. Freelancing, blogging,content creation are the platforms where every kind of person can share theirr creativity and generate income. Social media has increased connectivity among people,you can connect with anyone with social media.the beauty of social media is that you can connect with anyone to share and receive ideas and thoughts.

Reasons why social media should be banned on society

Beside the positive impact of social media on society and the globe social media also has its worst or negative sides.The dark side of social media is discussed below:

  Social media has created a mass user base in adults and teenagers.Every childrens and adults are using smartphone rightly and wrongly too.Rightly in a sense that they are gaining education, knowledge but wrongly because it promotes cyber crime.Multiple numbers of researches that took place concluded a vast relationship between social media and increasing stress,anxiety and depression cases in people.social media increases loneliness of people which leads towards mental pressure.Apart from that it is reported that approx 10 percent of youths complained of being bullied at social media like facebook,instagram,twitter etc.Social media increases smartphone addiction,teenage depression and many more.It is viewed that 58 percxent of students have not told to their parents about something unnecessary happened to them online.
